I want to know what is the rate of descent to be sure with my new Groozer trailer load.?
I am experienced rider, has 3 bikes, Trek tour 520, Raleigh, 500 C, with modifications, MTB (story hard) and I did a little ride bicycle trailer behind once on 4 months ago at the waterfall highway. Do not overload trailer with load capacity of 35 kilograms. I prefer paniers but sometimes have no choice if I bring my camera equipment.
When I bought a trailer for my son, I wanted to know the same. The only way to know is to experiment. I loaded the trailer with water bags and bottles of weight on it. Then he went out and tried to throw it to end. I went round corners as fast as I was a game, more channels and even around a BMX track. The best we managed was to get one of the wheels off the ground. I concluded that he had to do something really stupid to get what we need to go. It was very comforting to hold my son and now I would go for a stroke. Each trailer and bike combination is a little different so the only way to know for sure is to try it. If the value of his art a through pictures as much as I value my son to do the same.
