When I see a pop-up'm pulling my camper SUV, how should I carry my bike?
I have a Chevy Trailblazer SUV, and I am thinking about buying a pop-up (folding) campers. We want to take our bikes when we go camping. I currently use a bike rack that my trailer hitch increases. So – if I connect to my camper trailer hitch, which is the best way to tow the bikes? They do not believe in the back of the SUV, fit, and I do not want them put on the roof of the SUV. Does the camper have a trailer hitch in the back?
There are several options. It is possible to easily rack use it for your bicycles and an advanced receiver to tow a pop-up, but it will put more weight on the hook. You can probably get to a rack-mount, that would be on the back of the pop-up, but that's too much emphasis could be on the back of the pop-up set, so that the tongue weight too easily. The best thing to do is to put some bars (like a bicycle roof) mounted on the top of the pop-up and carry the bikes on top. That would put the additional weight of the bicycles directly to the wheels of the trailer. To make sure the pop-up that you get is strong enough to accommodate the packaging, on top of it.
