I clean milk racks in a store. Once the racks are cleaned, what can I do that spraying the milk slide easier?
I've been spraying mineral oil on metal racks, while wet. Once dry, the milk will not slide down the section, has to be stored or pulled down. I do not know what else I can do. My manager is obsessed with finding a way to get the milk from sliding forward over a long period time-when the jar or carton before it is taken.
What you're looking for is the silicone spray. You can find in your local hardware store. It's comes in an aerosol can and is used as a surface lubricant (to make things slippery) or as a waterproofing agent (you can spray the leather waterproof boots to them.) I'm not sure how long it will last – but I bet it would last longer than mineral oil. wanted to ensure that the racks are the first without problems. If they are oxidized, for example, can inhibit rust slippage. Good luck.
